Paris is putting the final touches on the 2024 Olympic Games, with the opening ceremony almost here.
It won't be one to miss this year – over 300,000 spectators are set to line the Seine as athletes parade down the iconic river.

Where to watch the Olympics opening ceremony in Australia
TV channel, free-to-air guide
The Nine Network has full Australian broadcast rights for the Paris Games, including the opening ceremony.
Fans can watch the ceremony on free-to-air television via Channel 9.
Live stream, watch online
The opening ceremony will be free to stream on the Nine Network's streaming platform 9Now.
It will also be aired by paid subscription service Stan Sport, which will provide a 4K broadcast option.
Olympics opening ceremony start time in Australia
The opening ceremony in Paris will start at 7:30 pm local time on Friday, July 26.
For Australian viewers on the east coast, it will all get underway at 3:30 am AEST on Saturday, July 27.

When does Australia enter the opening ceremony? Olympics Parade of Nations order
Australia will be third last (203 of 205) in the Parade of Nations order.
In line with tradition, Greece will be the first out, followed by the Refugee Olympic Team.
Nations will then be introduced in alphabetical order using the French language.
As an upcoming host (Brisbane 2032), Australia are later in the running than usual.
They will be followed by the United States (Los Angeles 2028) and France (Paris 2024).
