The 21-year-old talent was born in San Diego but moved to the Gold Coast as a young child.

He turned pro seven years ago and is currently the No. 7 in the World Skate male park rankings.

Palmer put himself on the world stage at the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021, finishing first by a comfortable 9.69-point margin.

He was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia the following year.

The young Aussie heads to Paris with plenty of confidence, having taken out the final at the Olympic Qualifier Series in Budapest in June.
