Harry Garside became Australia's first Olympic medal winner in boxing in 33 years when he took home a bronze medal in Tokyo.
The former plumber with the mullet and the beaming smile won over Aussie fans with his gutsy performances and down-to-earth personality.
Following the Olympics, he briefly moved into the professional ranks, winning his first three fights including the Australian lightweight title, before deciding to switch back to the amateurs in a bid for gold in Paris.

Here's how Garside went in Paris:
Did Harry Garside win?
In Garside's first match in Paris, he faced Hungary's Richard Kovacs in the round of 16.
The Aussie started well, pushing the pace as Kovacs looked to land shots on the counter.
His opponent's odd style began to pay dividends in the second round as he landed some hard shots on Garside who was struggling to get his timing down.
A close third round followed but Kovacs appeared to land the more meaningful shots, seeing him knock the reigning bronze medal winner out of the competition after taking the decision on all five judges' cards.
What time is Harry Garside competing in the Paris Olympics?
Just as he did in Tokyo, Garside will be competing in the 63.5kg lightweight division.
The competition gets underway on the first day of the Games following the opening ceremony.
In Australia, that means Garside will be in action in his round of 16 bout against Hungary's Richard Kovacs at 8:20pm AEST on Monday, July 29.
A tough draw could see Garside face gold medal favourite and French hope Sofiane Oumiha in the quarter final on Thursday evening (AEST).
The final is set to go down on the night of Wednesday, August 7.
Australia's boxing team for Paris Olympics
Australia will be sending a 12-person team to the Paris Olympics - the largest in the country's history.
In fact, Australia's contingent of 12 beats out all other nations, with Uzbekistan the next best represented with 11 athletes.
