Amanda Reid grabs another Australian cycling gold
Amanda Reid has claimed Australia's seventh gold medal of the Tokyo Paralympic Games on Friday morning.
The Australian cyclist took out the Women's C1-3 500m time trial in a world record time to beat out her dutch competitor Alyda Norbruis by less than half a second.
The mark beats her own world record that she set in Brisbane last year by almost half a second.
GOOLLDDD 🥇

Reid's gold follows two Australia gold medals at the Izu Velodrome on day one of the Paralympics.
Paige Greco and Emily Petricola both claimed gold in their respective 3000m Individual Pursuit events.
Isis Holt claims silver medal after smashing personal best
Australian sprinter Isis Holt has claimed a silver medal after smashing her personal best in the Women's 100m T35 final.
Holt ran a 13.13 which eclipsed her previous world record mark to finish second.
She was beaten by China's Zhou Xia who produced a superb race to claim gold and the new world record in a time of 13.00.
Despite not grabbing that elusive gold medal, Holt was still pleased with her race.
"Honestly it would have been awesome to win that final, but that PB for me, that's insane," Holt told Channel 7.
Unbelievable.

Alistair Donohoe claims silver in the Men's C5 4000m Individual Pursuit
The Izu Velodrome has been a popular venue for Australia's Paralympians as they claimed another medal on Friday.
Alistair Donohoe, with fantastic mullet and all, qualified for the gold final where he took on France's Dorian Foulon.
Foulon set the world record in qualifying and it was always going to be a tough task for the Aussie to grab gold.
In the end, he finished in a time of 4.24.095, only a bit over three seconds behind the Frenchman.
Congratulations to @AlistairDonohoe who is taking home the silver medal 🥈 in the Men's C5 4000m Individual Pursuit! 🇦🇺 #Tokyo2020 | #Paralympics pic.twitter.com/zQDgQolELP

Aussie Steelers book place in knockout rounds
Despite losing a tight group match to hosts Japan, the Aussie Steelers have done enough to make it through to the knockout stages of the Wheelchair Rugby tournament.
In a close match, the Aussies went down 57-53 to Japan but it was enough to see them finish second in Group A.
It means they will take on the winner of Group B in a semifinal on Saturday, either the United States or Great Britain.
The Steelers are the defending Wheelchair Rugby champions and after losing two of their three games will need a big bounce back in form if they're to win back-to-back golds.
