The Olympic Games are underway for 2024.

A strong contingent of Australian athletes are in Paris, along with a large Nine broadcast team.

The network will provide free and rolling coverage over a busy fortnight.

The Sporting News collates the hosts, commentators and experts set to feature across the various sports.

Channel 9 daily Olympic broadcast schedule, hosts

The Nine Network offer rolling coverage throughout the Games across two of their free-to-air channels – Channel 9 and 9Gem.

9Gem is providing true 24-hour coverage, while Channel 9 is breaking up their broadcast during the day for two news bulletins and select NRL matches. 

The network's free streaming service 9Now features 40 on-demand channels, each dedicated to a specific sport.

Paid subscription service Stan Sport is also broadcasting every single event live and on-demand, with the option to watch in 4K.

Nine's Paris-based team's studio is located at the Trocadéro, opposite the Eiffel Tower.

Channel 9 Olympic Games commentary team, experts

With some of Australia's best medal chances to come in the pool, Nine have assembled a strong group of swimming experts and commentators.

The broadcast team includes the likes of Cate Campbell, Ian Thorpe and Giaan Rooney. 

Gerard Whateley will lead the track and field events, supported by former Olympians Steve Hooker and Michael Johnson.

A wide range of experts will featured through the other various events on Nine's broadcast, such as Cadel Evans (cycling), Andrew Gaze (basketball) and Grace Gill (football).
