Canadiens, Ducks, Lightning, Predators shoot for Stanley Cup playoff berths image

Four teams had a chance to lock into a Stanley Cup playoffs berth on Saturday, joining the New York Rangers in the field of 16.

Here's a look at who could set their course for April 15 and beyond.

QUALIFYING SCENARIOS

— MONTREAL CANADIENS: Clinch playoff berth with a victory over the Florida Panthers. A Bruins loss, or a point against the Panthers and one point by the Bruins will lock in the Habs. Game time: 7 p.m. ET in Montreal.

— ANAHEIM DUCKS: Clinch playoff berth with a victory over the New York Islanders, or get one point against the Isles. Game time: 1 p.m. ET at Nassau Coliseum.

— TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING: Clinch playoff berth with a victory over the Detroit Red Wings. Alternatives include one point against the Wings and a Bruins loss, or a Bruins loss in regulation. Game time: 2 p.m. ET at Joe Louis Arena.

— NASHVILLE PREDATORS: Clinch playoff berth with a victory over the Capitals. Game time: 12:30 p.m. ET in Washington.
