For whatever reason, lots of people, media included, tend to call Flyers owner and Ayn Rand superfan Ed Snider "Mr. Snider." Honorifics like that are rarely necessary, unless you're a child, or adult talking to one of your friends' parents, or writing for the New York Times.
Snider, at long last, has set the record straight.
"I don't know why everyone continues to call me 'Mr. Snider,' but my name is Ed and that's what I want everyone to call me" Snider told THN.
