Little information has been revealed surrounding Jones' detention. The Jaguars released the following statement shortly after Jones was arrested:

“We are aware of the situation and are in the midst of gathering information. We will have no further comment at this time.”

Jones has played just three games this year, felled by a knee injury he suffered during Week 3 vs. the Texans. He tallied 823 yards and five touchdowns in 2022, emerging as one of Trevor Lawrence's favorite targets as Jacksonville qualified for the postseason for the first time since 2017.

He inked a three-year, $24 million contract with the Jags after enjoying mildly successful spells with the Bills and Raiders.

Check back for updates as they become available on the situation.
