Fresh off a run to the national championship game, Washington is well-represented at the 2024 NFL Draft.

The Huskies had three players drafted in the first round on Thursday, headlined by star quarterback Michael Penix Jr. shockingly landing with the Falcons at No. 8 overall. His favorite target, star wide receiver Rome Odunze, went one pick after to the Bears at No. 9, providing new starting quarterback Caleb Williams with another weapon.

Eleven picks later, stud offensive lineman Troy Fautanu was taken by the Steelers to add some additional protection for new starting quarterback Russell Wilson.

That trio is just a few of Washington's players who expect to hear their names called over the coming days. Take a look at the list of Huskies drafted and still available below.

What is the NFL record for most picks in single draft?

Georgia set the record in the 2022 NFL Draft with 15 players. The Bulldogs won the national championship that season and followed it up with five first-round picks, led by No. 1 pick Travon Walker.

Georgia's 15 total picks broke the previous record of 14 held by Ohio State (2004) and LSU (2020). Alabama (2018) and Ohio State (2016) are next with 12 players apiece.

Most Washington players drafted in a single draft

Washington had 10 players drafted in the 1998 NFL Draft — a record it has a chance of tying or breaking this year.

The Huskies went 9-3 with a near-perfect 7-1 record in Pac-10 play the season prior to their most successful draft in 1997.

Wide receiver Jerome Pathon was the highest player selected, going in the second round (No. 32 overall) to the Colts.

Washington's most successful player in that draft was Olin Kreutz (3rd Round, No. 64 overall), who went on to become a First-Team All-Pro center for the Bears.
