A judge has issued an arrest warrant for Rams running back Tre Mason after Mason failed to appear in court this week.

Mason, according to TMZ Sports, was ordered to appear Wednesday to face a charge of driving with a suspended license. Police in Palm Beach, Fla., issued him a ticket Aug. 13. His bond will be set at $2,000 when — if — he turns himself in.

This has been a tumultuous offseason for Mason, who lost his starting job to first-round draft pick Todd Gurley last year. He has had five run-ins with police in six months; in one of the incidents, Mason led officers on a high-speed chase while riding an ATV.

Mason's mother told reporters last month head trauma may be playing a role in her son's behavior. She also has told authorities her son has "a 10-year-old's mindset."
