In the words of Italian philosopher Silvio Dante (of "The Sopranos" fame), "You're only as good as your last envelope."
In other words, when it comes to business, the bag is paramount. That saying takes on a special importance when you're an agent. Your livelihood is tied to making sure your client secures as much cheddar as possible. If you don't, you'll be cut loose.
Here today, gone tomorrow...that's the story of the NFL. Giants hurler Tommy DeVito knows this all too well as an undrafted free agent. So, unsurprisingly, he's putting his faith — and money — behind a person who shares a great many similarities with him, including some good ole' Italian heritage.

With that, here's what you need to know about DeVito's agent, the moody — and impeccably dressed — Sean Stellato.

Who is Tommy DeVito's agent?
Blessed with a style all his own, Stellato — DeVito's much-lauded agent — has made waves in the sports industry in recent years. As one of Salem, Mass. most famous exports (right alongside "A Scarlett Letter" author Nathaniel Hawthorne and former Boston College QB Brian St. Pierre), Stellato always appeared destined for the limelight. Perhaps it was his hulking physique. Or maybe his menacing bicep tattoo. Either way, Stellato was a star, making waves at Salem High School in the early 1990s before embarking on a two-sport career (basketball, football) at Marist College.
He wasn't anything special; he averaged 0.4 points per game in 21 appearances with the men's basketball side. He was a little more successful on the gridiron, starting games for the Red Foxes as a wide receiver in the mid 1990s. With bleached blonde hair and a countenance that would be perfect for a ska band, Stellato was one of a kind.
Football giveth. And football taketh away. Stellato didn't find much professional success; he played two years in the now-defunct Arena Football League.
Nevertheless, his experience and charisma earned him the contacts in the industry. He parlayed such connections to form his own sports agency company, SES Sports. He's represented numerous footballers past and present, from Joe Vellano to Alfred Morris. Now, he's basking in the spotlight brought on by DeVito's meteoric rise.
For all of Stellato's opulence — he's an attention-grabber, to say the least — DeVito is adamant his skills have helped pay the bills.
“Sean is always in my corner and will do whatever it takes to help me with my career on and off the field,” DeVito said, according to The Salem News. “He is the Italian Stallion of sports agents.”
Stellato is an Italian-American through and through. One of his daughters has the word 'Sicily' in her name.
It seems his influence has rubbed off on Tommy Cutlets, at least in some ways. However, he still has some way to go. DeVito has yet to rock an outfit as audacious as this one:

There's a new Italian Stallion making waves in the Northeast. If he's anything like the first one, he should have legions of spectators singing his praises.
