The GOAT is headed to the broadcast booth this NFL season.
After a year away from football, seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady is set to make his broadcasting debut for Fox in 2024.
He signed a reported 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox following his second retirement but stepped away from the game during the 2023 season to spend time with his family.
Now, Brady will be ready to project his football mind to the world as he calls primetime games throughout the year.
When can we expect to hear Brady's voice in the broadcast booth for the first time? The Sporting News takes a closer look below.

Is Tom Brady calling a preseason game?
No, Brady will not be calling any preseason NFL action. Fox Sports did not reveal why Brady's debut will wait until the regular season.
For comparison, it is worth noting that CBS held off Tony Romo's broadcasting debut until the regular season, too. Romo immediately made a splash in the booth, quickly getting bumped up to the A-team for CBS alongside Jim Nantz.
Expect Brady to find similar success as soon as he steps behind the microphone, giving NFL fans an inside track at one of the smartest minds in football history.

“Amazing. Obviously, having the Cowboys on is a huge draw. As 'America’s Team,' that’s going to get a little hard for me to say that all the time. Understand they were the competition for a long time,” Brady said.
“But in this new role, I know the Cowboys, how important that they are to this network. They got great storylines. Come on, Dak Prescott, let’s see if he can finally come through. ... Did that just slip out?" he joked about the Cowboys quarterback.
"One of the great defensive players, Micah Parsons, what a great player he is. And coach (Mike) McCarthy.
"So, I love covering them. I’ve been, obviously, going against them for a long time, and now I get to tell everyone how great they are.”

Brady is aware that there might be some speed bumps but expect that his previous preparation has him ready for this next step.
"I know that I’m coming in as kind of a rookie to this, but I know I’m going to work extremely hard, like I always do,” he told USA today in 2022. “I still think there’s a lot of things that I’ve learned over my professional career that will carry over to a different career.”
Be prepared for Brady's voice to become commonplace on NFL Sundays in the same way that other marquee announcers have joined us in our living rooms like family over the years.
