Tim Tebow might not be ready to give up on his NFL dream.

The former Broncos quarterback got a look from the Eagles Monday.

Alas, the workout didn't result in a roster spot.

Fox Sports also reported the Eagles would not sign Tebow. Count on the Eagles, though, to add even more drama to this offseason.

Tebow's legendary collegiate success with Florida seemed to set him up for success in the NFL. He performed relatively well for the Broncos after taking over for Kyle Orton at the beginning of the 2011 season. However, he was traded to the Jets in 2012 after Denver signed Peyton Manning to the roster.

Tebow was cut from the Jets in April 2013 and spent time with the Patriots during the summer of 2013, only to be cut before the season officially started.

It's just another odd twist in Chip Kelly's offseason masterplan. After trading Nick Foles to the Rams to pick up oft-injured Sam Bradford, Kelly took a big swing to sign ex-Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray. The Eagles also re-signed Mark Sanchez.

Give Tebow credit for giving it another shot. He isn't participating in the NFL veteran's combine, but hasn't turned his back on his game. In fact, over the years he has had more outside coaching help than he has had on the teams he has worked with. Tom House, Chris Weinke, Steve Clarkson Dennis Gile and Mike Giavondo have all been Tebow coach consultants over recent years.
