An unnamed woman is in police custody, according to Pittsburgh's WTAE-TV. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Saturday morning that a close family friend of Pryor believes he will survive the stabbing.

Pryor was taken by the Raiders in the third round of the 2011 NFL Supplemental Draft following a successful collegiate career at Ohio State. He spent three seasons with the Buckeyes, throwing for 57 touchdowns and 6,177 yards.

Pryor has bounced around in the NFL, appearing in games with the Raiders, Browns, Redskins, Bills and Jets. He hasn't played this season after being released by the Jaguars in September.
