Los Angeles Rams tackle Andrew Whitworth said "at the end of the day, we're all gonna die" as he reflected on his team's loss to the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII.
The Rams left Atlanta emptyhanded after suffering a 13-3 defeat to Tom Brady's Patriots in the NFL's showpiece at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday.
And Whitworth – a four-time Pro Bowler – had an interesting take on the Rams' loss.

"At the end of the day, we're all gonna die," Whitworth said when asked to summarise his feelings.
Hurts! Not ending we wanted. Couldn’t love my team more! Feel Blessed and Proud to have had this opportunity! Thankful to our fans! We dont blame things we can’t control and look internally for how we could be better.

On 2 better days! @RamsNFL aren’t going anywhere!
Whitworth is a 13-year veteran who finished his second season with Los Angeles.
The 37-year-old – drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2006 – believes things other than winning and losing football games determine your true worth.
"The way you carry yourself … is the only thing that's going to matter. That's what people are going to remember about you," Whitworth added.
"For me, what means the most is guys seeing me hold my head up high, being confident in them and loving them."
Whitworth was part of an offensive line that allowed the Patriots to sack Jared Goff four times.
