Josh Allen labelled his connection with Stefon Diggs as "something special" after the Buffalo Bills duo dominated the New England Patriots.
Allen threw three touchdown passes to Diggs in the Bills' 38-9 victory over the Patriots in the NFL on Monday.
With 34, Allen broke the record for most TD passes in a season for the Bills, while Diggs set a new mark for receiving yards by a Buffalo player in a campaign.
Allen, who completed 27 of 36 passes for 320 yards and four TDs, talked up his connection with Diggs.
"It's something special," the quarterback told ESPN.
"You see it helps on plays where I'm scrambling, I just have supreme faith in him.
"He understands my ins and outs … That play [TD in the fourth quarter] wasn't what it was supposed to be, it was just something that we ad-libbed and we got that type of communication and that trust in each other.
"I firmly believe that's because of the relationship we've built off the field."

The Bills' win saw them improve to 12-3 and they are on track to be the number two seeds in the AFC behind the Kansas City Chiefs.
Diggs was full of praise for Allen, the 2020 Pro Bowler who is enjoying the best season of his career.
"He's out there throwing darts, he's also scrambling, making things happen, so I'm always thankful for that. He's making plays for us," he said.
"We've got a lot faith and trust in Josh and he continues to show up week in and week out."
