The Steelers and Colts are both in desperate need of a win. The two teams have tenuous holds on the AFC's final two playoff spots, but those could easily slip away when one inevitably loses Sunday — unless, of course, they tie.

The Steelers seem a bit lost recently after two horrific defeats at the hands of the Cardinals and Patriots in consecutive weeks. Pittsburgh will once again start Mitchell Trubisky at quarterback with Kenny Pickett still out with an ankle injury, though that change didn't help the Steelers this past week.

The Colts ended a four-game winning streak this past week in a blowout loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. Indianapolis scored just one offensive touchdown in the game, and the team hasn't rushed for more than 55 total yards since losing starting running back Jonathan Taylor underwent thumb surgery.

Colts quarterback Gardner Minshew should lean on the passing game once more, though the Steelers' run defense hasn't been great recently, either. Wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. is in the midst of a career season. He's caught at least eight receptions for 60 yards in six consecutive games and ranks fourth in receptions and 13th in yards this season.

The Steelers will need pass rusher T.J. Watt to step up in this match to thwart the Colts, as the star defensive end hasn't registered a full sack since Week 12. Watt's 14 sacks this season now trail Chargers edge rusher Khalil Mack for the NFL lead.
