Patriots head coach Jerod Mayo said before Week 5 he'd be benching Rhamondre Stevenson due to fumbling issues, but the veteran running back still produced vs. the Dolphins.
Stevenson had 12 carries for 89 yards and a touchdown vs. Miami, continuing to play a significant role in New England's offense.
However, he left the game momentarily in the fourth quarter after sustaining a potential leg injury.
Here are the latest updates on Stevenson's injury status against the Dolphins.

After the play, Stevenson came up limping and was looked at by the Patriots' medical staff for an extended period. He didn't go into the medical tent, remaining on the sidelines as New England's offense was on the field.
Stevenson came back in the game just before New England wrapped up its second-to-last drive of the game with a turnover on downs, but he didn't see the ball.
After the game, Stevenson said he doesn't expect the injury to be an issue going forward and it was a helmet to his calf that caused the injury.

Stevenson already entered Week 5 with questions about his playing time due to Mayo's benching comments, but nevertheless, he turned in another solid performance on the ground.
Based on his postgame comments, Stevenson should be available for the Patriots moving forward, but his injury status could still be one to keep an eye on.
