Saints cornerback P.J. Williams was strapped down and carted off the field Sunday after suffering a scary injury in the first quarter against the Giants.

Williams took a knee to the head while tackling Giants tight end Larry Donnell. Williams' head snapped back following the tackle, and he was then hit in the back of the head by his own teammate Craig Robertson.

Multiple trainers and doctors worked on Williams, who did not appear to be moving while on the field. Fox Sports' Laura Okmin reported Williams was able to move his fingers and toes while being treated at a local hospital.

The Saints announced Williams was being treated for a possible concussion.
