Less than three days after boosting his draft stock with an impressive pro day, Florida State cornerback and potential first-round draft pick P.J. Williams was arrested on DUI charges early Friday morning, per NFL.com.

As a junior in 2014, Williams finished with 74 tackles and earned All-ACC honors.

Williams quietly gained momentum leading up the NFL Draft with improved numbers in the broad jump, vertical jump and 40-yard dash Tuesday, while his teammate, James Winston, attracted the vast majority of media attention. However, this most recent run-in with the law, paired with a separate hit-and-run incident from November, will likely scare NFL GMs from investing a top pick in Williams.
