Jimmy Graham may be able to play Week 1 against the Miami Dolphins after all.

The Seattle Seahawks' star tight end tore his patellar tendon in Week 12 last season. While he has been progressing from the injury, it was originally believed he would miss the season opener after sitting out the entire preseason.

However, according to the Seattle Times, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Graham's chances of playing this week "are good".

The comments are in stark contrast to his previous statement made Monday, claiming Graham would practice as if he would play Sunday's game, even though the team didn't actually expect him to be available.

Then on Tuesday, when Seattle's first official depth chart was released, it featured Graham as the starter with no injury limitations. So his actual status remains clouded in mystery, but it appears to be trending toward him suiting up.
