The Patriots' situation at wide reciver has been in constant flux this offseason. In the team's latest move Wednesday, it announced the release of veteran wide receiver Kenny Britt. But, at least for now, the team won't bring in another body at the position.

According to NFL Media , which cited a Patriots source, the team "probably" has no interest free agent Dez Bryant, who was released by the Cowboys earlier this offseason.

Bryant was linked to the Patriots after he visited Cleveland on Thursday and left without a contract in place, though his search for a new team will continue as the regular season approaches.

The Patriots will be without Julian Edelman as he serves a four-game suspension, but still have options in Chris Hogan, Phillip Dorsett, Eric Decker and Cordarrelle Patterson following the releases of Jordan Matthews and Malcolm Mitchell.
