Patrick Mahomes continues to haunt the Buffalo faithful.
For the third time in the past four years, the Chiefs ended the Bills season, as Mahomes and Co. went into Highmark Stadium and delivered Josh Allen a 27-24 loss in the AFC divisional round.
While Kansas City and Buffalo have delivered a trio of playoff thrillers with their elite quarterbacks, the result has been the same each time — a Chiefs win. The Bills have yet to advance deep in the playoffs due to early matchups with their conference rival.
This go-around was slightly different, as it was not only Mahomes' first time coming to Buffalo in the postseason, but it was also the first true road playoff game in his NFL career. That didn't matter to the two-time MVP, as he sent Bills mafia home with another disappointing end to the NFL season.

The crowd in upstate New York did not take kindly to the Chiefs eliminating their hometown team, so the fans elected to do one of the most Buffalo things possible — start throwing snowballs.
At first, it appeared as though the Bills fans began peppering the quarterback with snowballs as he tried to get to a kid in the stands wearing his jersey. Mahomes had to duck and dodge through the debris to get to his fan

It didn't stop then. As Mahomes crossed the field to get back to the visitor's tunnel, he again had to do his best Muhammad Ali impression, slipping away from the snowballs coming from the bleachers.

Chiefs cornerback Justin Watson also was the victim of aerial attacks, and he took to X to give a remark about the incident.

It's understandable why Bills fans weren't happy with Mahomes. The Kansas City star had an efficient day at the office, completing 17 of his 23 passes for 215 yards and two touchdowns. He added 19 yards on the ground and did not turn the ball over, improving to 13-3 in the playoffs.
While snowballs have become frequent parts of Bills' celebrations, harmlessly getting thrown up in the air, that doesn't give the Bills mafia an excuse for throwing projectiles Mahomes' way. Targeting the unsuspecting opposition is a good way for someone to get hurt, and no one wants to see the Chiefs in the AFC Championship without Mahomes' services.
