The questions come up every Sunday. Is that a catch? What is a catch? What's the rule again on what constitutes a catch? What's the meaning of a catch? Why are we here? What does the fox actually say?

Well, we at least had a clear answer for the first of those questions at the Lions-Giants game. There is absolutely no way Odell Beckham Jr. caught this ball.

Beckham dropped a pass from Eli Manning in the first quarter, but the referees essentially said, "Close enough."

Sure. That goes down as a four-yard reception for Beckham. It was ruled a catch on the field and Lions coach Jim Caldwell didn't challenge the play. Apparently the NFL instituted a one-bounce rule for receivers this week.

Beckham has made some incredible catches in his career. That was not one of them. Oops!
