The Bears have reportedly won the Khalil Mack sweepstakes.
ESPN reported Saturday the Bears and Raiders have agreed to a trade for the All-Pro edge rusher, although the two sides are "still working through it."
The Bears were one of several teams rumored to be in the hunt for Mack, who came with a steep asking price. NFL Media had reported the Raiders were seeking two first-round picks for Mack to even have a "conversation" about a trade for the former NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported that the Bears had agreed to give up two first-round picks, and "that may not be it."
As of early Saturday, CBS Sports had reported the 49ers, Jets, Bills, Colts, Packers and Browns were also interested in Mack.
Now Chicago will have to sign Mack to a long-term deal. The linebacker is believed to be seeking the most lucrative contract in history for a defensive player. Aaron Donald set that benchmark Friday when he agreed to a six-year, $135 million deal with the Rams.
