The NFL has confirmed the Week 4 game between Tennessee and the Pittsburgh Steelers at Nissan Stadium has been postponed after multiple Titans players tested positive for coronavirus.
On Tuesday, the Titans confirmed three players and five personnel staff had contracted COVID-19, while NFL Network reported another player had tested positive on Wednesday.
An NFL statement read: "The Steelers-Titans game, originally scheduled for Sunday at 1pm ET, will be rescheduled to allow additional time for further daily COVID-19 testing and to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game-day personnel.
"Details on the new game date and time on either Monday or Tuesday will be announced as soon as possible".
Though the entire NFL preseason slate was scrapped this year, this is the first instance of a regular season game being postponed because of the COVID crisis.

Speaking shortly after the news was confirmed, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel told reporters: "I feel comfortable that since receiving the protocols in August that we've followed them by the letter.
"This is a very unfortunate situation but one that we're confident that we will be able to handle safely.
"We are preparing to play on Monday. I'm confident that the league will allow us time to practice, to get on the field and then move forward with the game."
Vrabel revealed some of those who had tested positive had experienced flu-like symptoms, though he stressed the team were not pointing the finger of blame at anyone.
"We've evaluated what we've done, the protocols and how we've handled the meetings," he added.
"We've continued to have social distancing in those meetings. I'm not going to begin to understand or track down how a virus would spread. We'll have to continue to exercise extreme caution when we go back in and no one is to blame."
The Titans and Steelers have both started 3-0, two of seven NFL teams yet to lose a game through three weeks.
