The officiating crew during the Seahawks/Bills game Monday night likely won't face discipline for botching two huge calls, ESPN.com reported.

Walt Anderson and his crew faced scrutiny when they failed to penalize Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman for roughing up Bills kicker Dan Carpenter during his field-goal attempt before the first half ended.

They also didn't properly reset the clock after they stood over the ball with four seconds on the play clock after the Bills were forced to take a timeout to evaluate Carpenter.

As a result, the Bills were penalized for a delay of game and Carpenter was forced to kick the ball from 54 yards away and the football sailed wide right.

Seattle came away with the 31-25 victory.

"From an officiating standpoint, I think you can do a little better than that," Bills coach Rex Ryan said of Anderson's crew.

Richard Sherman was fined $9,115 by the NFL for the hit.
