Eagles tight end Brent Celek will retire after 11 seasons in the NFL, according to multiple reports.

Celek was released from the team earlier this year and steps away from the game despite gaining interest from other teams. He leaves Philadelphia as the team's longest-tenured player.

He's expected to release an official statement Friday.

The Super Bowl 52 champ was picked up by the Eagles in the fifth round of the 2007 draft. Celek leaves the NFL with 398 career receptions for 4,998 yards and 31 touchdowns.
