Demaryius Thomas has had a challenging February.

The veteran wide receiver was released by the Texans Tuesday. On Saturday at 12:20 a.m. local time he was involved in a rollover crash in Denver, police said via NFL.com.

Thomas, who was driving the vehicle, suffered minor injuries in the crash as did another male passenger. A female sustained serious injuries but they are not considered to be life-threatening.

Police are still investigating the accident, but it does not appear alcohol or drugs were involved.

Thomas, 31, caught 59 passes for 677 yards and five touchdowns for the Texans and Broncos this season. He was traded to Houston before the deadline and played with the team until Week 15 when he suffered a torn Achilles in a loss to the Eagles.

The former Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket has made four Pro Bowls in his nine-year career while catching 688 passes for 9,330 yards and 62 touchdowns.
