Cole Beasley does not appear to be happy with the Cowboys’ front office.
The 29-year-old free agent wide receiver, who has spent his entire seven-year career with Dallas, said Tuesday on Twitter he was looking to get more touches next season with whichever team he signs with.
“I’ll play anywhere where I can make more of an impact,” Beasley said. “I would love for that to be Dallas or anywhere else that will give me more pops to make an impact.”
Beasley said the team’s executives might have been responsible for his lack of targets in certain situations.
“Honestly, the front office pushes who they want to get the ball to,” Beasley said. “I haven’t been a huge priority in that regard. Maybe that will change but I’m not sure. More balls come my way in 2-minute drill where nothing is planned.”
Beasley tallied 65 catches for 672 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games in 2018.
The Cowboys finished 2018 with a 10-6 record and advanced to the NFC divisional round, where they fell to the Rams.
