Vontaze Burfict’s career could be in jeopardy after he sustained his seventh concussion Sunday, according to a report from ESPN.

The 28-year-old Bengals linebacker suffered the latest setback in the first half of his team’s 26-18 loss to the Browns. Burfict also missed two games earlier this month with another concussion.

Burfict has 33 total tackles and three pass breakups in seven games this season.

Burfict has spent his entire seven-year career with the Bengals. He hasn’t played more than 11 gams in a season since 2013.

The Bengals have already been eliminated from the playoffs and will finish the regular season against the Steelers in Pittsburgh on Sunday. They’ll enter that matchup with a 6-9 record.

Cincinnati last reached the postseason in 2015.
