Enshrinement Week is back with yet more players, coaches and contributors entering the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Though this year's enshrinement ceremony won't include the pure volume of players as it did in 2021 (which included not only that year's class but also the 2020 class), it still features a sizable group of people who earned their busts in Canton.

This year's class will feature six players, one coach and a contributor, bringing the total number to eight. That group includes one of the NFL's premier defensive linemen of the early 2000s; the player credited with inventing the Lambeau Leap; the first player in Jaguars franchise history to receive a gold jacket; and a two-time Sporting News Coach of the Year.

Who is in the Hall of Fame Class of 2022?

As in 2021, the Hall of Fame will enshrine eight new members: six players, one coach and a contributor.

Former Patriots and Raiders defensive lineman Richard Seymour, former Packers safety LeRoy Butler — credited with inventing the Lambeau Leap — and Tony Boselli, the first Jaguars first player to be inducted — are the headliners among the players.

Former 49ers defensive lineman Bryant Young is also in the group, as are linebacker Sam Mills and wide receiver Cliff Branch, each of whom will be enshrined posthumously.

Dick Vermeil, the Sporting News Coach of the Year in 1979 and 1999 and the winning coach of Super Bowl 34, will be enshrined as a coach. Art McNally, who worked nine years as a field judge and referee before becoming the NFL's director of officiating in 1968, will be the first official enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
