Ryan Tannehill may remain in the state of Florida.
“There’s a noticeable buzz in league circles” that the Jaguars may be interested in signing the 30-year-old quarterback if he becomes a free agent, according to a report from ProFootball Talk .
The Dolphins have reportedly been looking to move Tannehill and are expected to release him if they can’t find a deal.
Tannehill dealt with injuries and was inconsistent last season. He completed 64.2 percent of his passes while tallying 17 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 11 games. The Dolphins registered a 5-6 record in his starts.
Tannehill has spent all seven of his NFL seasons with Miami.
The Jaguars reportedly agreed to a four-year, $88 million contract with Nick Foles on Monday. Tannehill would presumably be his backup if he joined Jacksonville.
