NFC champions the Los Angeles Rams added to their defense, signing linebacker Clay Matthews.
The Rams have agreed to a two-year deal, reportedly worth as much as $16.75million, with former Green Bay Packers linebacker Matthews.
Matthews tallied a career-low 3.5 sacks along with 43 total tackles in 16 games for Green Bay last season.
Matthews made six Pro Bowls over his 10 seasons with the Packers. He has recorded 83.5 sacks over 143 NFL games.
The Rams finished 2018 with a 13-3 record and advanced to the Super Bowl, where they fell to the New England Patriots.
