Michael Crabtree has a new team, but he won't be leaving the San Francisco Bay Area.

The free-agent wide receiver has agreed to sign with the Raiders, according to ESPN. Terms of the contract were not immediately available.

Crabtree, 27, was drafted 10th overall by the 49ers in the 2009 NFL Draft. He blossomed into a top receiving target there, registered his first 1,000-yard season in 2012 to go with nine touchdowns. But an Achilles injury cost him all but five games in the 2013 season. He seemed to have lost some explosiveness last season, catching 68 passes for only 698 yards and four touchdowns.

The 49ers declined to re-sign him this offseason. He had been on the open market for 34 days and represents something of a consolation prize for the Raiders, who entered free agency intent on signing top wide receivers Randall Cobb (Packers) or Jeremy Maclin (Eagles).

Crabtree will join a wide receiver group in Oakland that includes James Jones, Andre Holmes and Rod Streater. Crabtree has 347 receptions for 4,327 and 60 touchdowns in his six-year career.
