Veteran free agents trying to latch onto a new team will have another chance to do so.

The NFL has announced Thursday it will hold a veteran combine March 22 at the Cardinals' facility in Phoenix.

The event will "serve to isolate and consolidate veteran free-agent talent for more focused evaluation on a comparative basis," the league said in a memo to all 32 teams.

About 100 veteran free agents will be selected through an application process. Those chosen will have a chance to work out in front of representatives from every NFL team. It seems to be a good opportunity for street free agents trying to remain in the league.
