NFL Color Rush uniforms for 2016 Thursday night games unveiled image

If the NFL teams playing on Thursday Night Football can't light it up after a short week of practice and likely still feeling pain from the week prior, their uniforms will do the job.

The Color Rush campaign with which the league experimented last season is full throttle in 2016, with more teams wearing more color (except for the few that will wear all black or all white).

The league on Tuesday released images of this year's uniforms for all 32 teams. This time, thankfully, the league was conscious of colorblind people unlike last year's Bills-Jets fiasco. The NFL said some teams — the Jets (vs. Bills), Browns (vs. Ravens) and Rams (vs. Seahawks) — will wear white so the color matchups don't cause such eyesight issues, according to ESPN, and Nike reportedly brought in doctors to review the color combos.

The Falcons (vs. Buccaneers), Cardinals (vs. 49ers) and Texans (vs. Patriots) will wear white to contrast with their opponents, who have the same primary colors. The Colts, Redskins and Lions will not wear their Color Rush uniforms on Thanksgiving.

NFL Color Rush schedule:

9/15 – Jets at Bills
9/22 – Texans at Patriots
9/29 –  Dolphins at Bengals
10/6 –  Cardinals at 49ers
10/13 –  Broncos at Chargers
10/20 –  Bears at Packers
10/27 –  Jaguars at Titans
11/3 –  Falcons at Buccaneers
11/10 –  Browns at Ravens
11/17 –  Saints at Panthers
12/1 –  Cowboys at Vikings
12/8 –  Raiders at Chiefs
12/15 –  Rams at Seahawks
12/22 –  Giants at Eagles
12/25 – Ravens at Steelers (special edition of Thursday Night Football)
