Cardinals rookie QB Josh Rosen ties dubious mark against Broncos image

The Cardinals took Josh Rosen with the No. 10 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft under the assumption he was one of the most, if not the most, pro-ready quarterbacks available.

He didn't look ready to play Thursday against the Broncos as he threw an interception that was returned for a touchdown on his first pass.

Just a few throws later, he found Broncos cornerback Chris Harris wide open for yet another pick-six.

Rosen became just the fourth player since 2001 to throw two pick-sixes in the first quarter, according to ESPN. The last one to do it was Colin Kaepernick in 2015 with the 49ers. Jon Kitna and Philip Rivers were the other culprits.

Rosen was also sacked for a loss of seven in the first quarter, so he has nowhere to go but up after the first 15 minutes in this one. The problem is his team trailed 21-3 after the first frame so he'll have to play catch up.
