The Dolphins are committing to Mike Pouncey.

Miami agreed Friday to a contract extension that, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, will make their 2011 first-round pick the highest-paid center in the NFL.

Pouncey, a Pro Bowl selection each of the past two seasons, was scheduled to make $7.4 million in 2015 under the fifth-year option in his rookie contract.

If the reports are accurate, his new deal will exceed the five-year, $44 million contract his twin brother, Maurkice, received from the Steelers last year.

Mike Pouncey, 25, has played in 58 of a possible 64 games during his first four seasons in the NFL.
