After a disappointing season offensively, the 49ers and receivers Michael Crabtree and Brandon Lloyd are likely to part ways, according to the Sacramento Bee

Crabtree ended 2014 with a dismal 698 yards receiving and four touchdowns while Lloyd totaled just 14 catches all year.

Crabtree said before the season that he wants to earn top-level money, close to or exceeding $11 million a season, but his production has fallen well short of the “elite” category.

Two years removed from his breakout 85-catch, 1,105-yard, nine-touchdown season, Crabtree has failed to live up to expectations since. He tore his Achilles in the summer of 2013 and hasn't been the same since, amassing just one 100-yard receiving game since the injury.

With Anquan Boldin and Stevie Johnson currently listed as the top two receivers on the 49ers' depth chart, general manager Trent Baalke will certainly be looking to add young talent from the NFL Draft.

Names that have been linked to the 49ers at pick No. 15 include receivers Kevin White of West Virginia and DeVante Parker of Louisville, while Sporting News predicts the Niners will select Jaelen Strong from Arizona State.
