Dolphins vs. Ravens: Score, results, highlights for Thursday night game in Baltimore image

Stats: Dolphins vs. Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens shut out the Miami Dolphins 40-0 in a "Thursday Night Football" matchup at Baltimore's M&T Bank Stadium. The Ravens (4-4) ended a two-game losing streak with the biggest shutout win in team history and the NFL's biggest shutout since 2014. The Dolphins (4-3) were held scoreless for the second time this season to snap their three-game winning streak.

Baltimore was able to overcome the loss of quarterback Joe Flacco in the second quarter. He exited the game after a hit to the head by Miami linebacker Kiko Alonso. Flacco had 101 passing yards and one touchdown before being replaced by Ryan Mallett. On the same drive that injured Flacco, Mallett added another touchdown with a pass to Benjamin Watson.

The Ravens might have managed to save their season with the win, but it is uncertain how long Flacco will be out with a concussion after the gruesome hit.
