So nice, it had to be broken twice.
Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker and 49ers rookie Jake Moody each booted their way into the NFL history books during Super Bowl 58, becoming the first two kickers ever to successfully sink field goals of at least 55 yards in a Super Bowl.
Moody initially made history against the Chiefs in the first half, as the 49ers kicker's 55-yard field goal marked the longest attempt ever made in a Super Bowl. The kick not only opened the scoring in the game, but it also broke the previous mark set by former Bills kicker Steve Christie.
The mark did not stand for much longer, as Butker immediately one-upped Moody in the third quarter, sinking a 57-yarder to take first place on the all-time longest Super Bowl field goals list.
