There have been a fair share of carnivals in Ford Field over the years. That was a bit more literal ahead of the Bills-Browns game.

The Land on Demand's Tony Grossi reported there was a carnival set up in Ford Field that had to be taken down before the Browns and Bills play in Detroit, which was relocated from Buffalo.

It's easy to see how this happened. Ford Field was going to be vacant this weekend with the Lions playing at MetLife Stadium against the Giants on Sunday, leaving the space open.

But when inclement weather forced the NFL to move the Bills-Browns game out of Buffalo, with the domed Ford Field being an option, suddenly plans had to be changed. Estimates of major snow in Buffalo and hazardous conditions for those hoping to travel to the game prompted the NFL to move the contest.

This clearly put a big event in a bit of a bind. A carnival slated to be in the stadium had to make sure it was clear of Ford Field by Sunday, when the two teams will play at 1 p.m. ET.

Of course, the presence of the carnival in Ford Field quickly ushered in the chance to clown both the Lions and Browns. After all, since Ford Field opened in 2002, no teams have lost more than the Browns (218) and Lions (214), according to Stathead. And if the Bills win on Sunday and then again on Thanksgiving, when they return to Ford Field to play the Lions, they would have two wins at Ford Field in 2022, as many as the Lions would have going into that game.

And Twitter, which is still hanging in there, had all the jokes at the expense of the Lions and Browns.
