The Cardinals will be without starting quarterback Kyler Murray for some time.
On the second play from scrimmage in the Week 14 "Monday Night Football" matchup between the Cardinals and Patriots, Murray scrambled to his right, and seemed to injure something in his lower half. Murray wouldn't be able to make it to his feet.
The cart was immediately brought out for Murray, who was surrounded by teammates as he made his way off the field.

ESPN sideline reporter Lisa Salters reported that Murray was "sobbing" as he made his way off the field on the cart.
Murray was replaced by second-stringer Colt McCoy, who has seen the field already in 2022, while Murray was dealing with a hamstring injury.
Here's the latest on Murray's status:
Kyler Murray injury update
Murray was carted off in the first quarter of the Week 14 Cardinals-Patriots matchup after suffering a non-contact injury. He would later be listed as out the remainder of the game.
Reports after the game suggested the injury was serious, and tests Tuesday confirmed Murray had suffered a torn ACL, ending his season.

Following the game, head coach Kliff Kingsbury said only that the injury "doesn't look good" and that the team would know more about it in the morning.
The Cardinals would initially list Murray as "questionable" with a knee injury, as he was also undergoing further testing. That later led to Murray being listed as out.
Cardinals now have ruled out QB Kyler Murray due to the knee injury that he suffered on the third play of the game.
