Injuries have decimated the Vikings' offense this season, and the unit took another hit on Sunday.
Wide receiver K.J. Osborn had to be carted off the field after taking a hit to the head in the second quarter of the Vikings game against the Falcons. He lay motionless on the ground before eventually walking to the cart, which took him off the field
Osborn has since been ruled out of the game with a concussion.
The Minnesota receiver has been a bright spot in the absence of injured star WR Justin Jefferson. Osborn entered this week with 30 receptions for 360 yards and two touchdowns on the year. The 26-year-old Miami product was coming off a season-high eight catches for 99 yards last win in Minnesota's win over Green Bay.
At the time of his injury, Osborn had two catches on two targets for 17 yards. The Vikings already had lost rookie QB Jaren Hall earlier in the game due to a concussion.

With 4:13 remaining in the second quarter, Minnesota had the ball at its own 27-yard line. On third-and-8, Josh Dobbs hit Osborn for a completion of 13 yards.
However, as Osborn made the catch, he was hit high from both the front and the back. Falcons cornerbacks Jeff Okudah and Dee Alford each made contact with Osborn's head.

Alford was assessed a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness on the play.
The Vikings wide receiver stayed down on the field for quite some time before a cart came out to remove him from the field. The good news is that Osborn was able to walk to the cart, however has since been ruled out of the game with a concussion.
As previously mentioned, the Vikings are already without Jefferson in their wide receiver room as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. Osborn was one of the receivers to step up in his absence, however that duty now falls to Brandon Powell and rookie Jordan Addison for the remainder of the contest against the Falcons.
