Khalil Mack returned to practice on a limited basis on Friday, and if his week seven experience is any guide, that likely means he is playing for the Chicago Bears against the New York Jets on Sunday.

Mack (ankle) is officially listed as questionable on the Bears injury report, just as he was last week heading into the matchup with the New England Patriots.

But Mack missed Wednesday and Thursday practices last week, returned to practice Friday and played against New England.

Earlier this week, Bears coach Matt Nagy said he expected to manage Mack's condition the same way.

He sat out practice on Wednesday and Thursday, and returned on a limited basis on Friday. While it appears Mack will play, his effectiveness has been hampered since he sprained his ankle two weeks ago.

Bears receiver Allen Robinson is also listed as questionable, although he also was a limited participant in practice on Friday. He missed the final few series of the Patriots game with the injury.
