Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel's recent move from a downtown condo to a suburban golf community rife with senior citizens has earned the praise of at least one teammate, ESPN.com reported.

"It's about as polar opposite as you can get," said linebacker Paul Kruger who lives in the same area.

"Nice, old people everywhere," said Kruger. "If you don't tuck in your shirt, they'll come out and, 'Hey, please.' … Nice and quiet. Birds chirping. It's an awesome place."

Manziel, who in early April ended a 10-week stint in rehab, played in the team's golf tournament but didn't address the media formally, ESPN reported.

Golf is a big part of Manziel's treatment after rehab.

"I'm happy to see him there," Kruger said. "It's an awesome course, No. 1, and a good area to be. So, yeah, I think it's a win-win."

The Browns organization also thinks Manziel's move was a good one. His teammates have reportedly noticed a positive change in his attitude since he left rehab.

"I feel good that he is a young man that's doing the best he can with the circumstances he has," general manager Ray Farmer said Friday. "He wants to give himself the best opportunity. Whatever he thinks those adjustments need to be, those are things that he's going to do."
