Great news for Bears fans: Jay Cutler won’t throw any interceptions for a while.

The struggling quarterback, who threw one intercepton in Monday's loss to the Eaglers, is expected to miss the next two to three weeks after being diagnosed with a sprained right thumb, NFL Media reported Wednesday.

Brian Hoyer, who relieved Cutler late in Monday’s game, will move into the starting role with Matt Barkley taking over backup duties. The Bears, 0-2, play the Cowboys, Lions and Colts over the next three weeks.
