Travis Kelce may be a 34-year-old NFL veteran, but his big brother Jason Kelce is still right there to provide Travis with some key life lessons.
Among the sage advice Jason had after Super Bowl 58? Travis probably should have found a better way to channel his frustration with the Chiefs' first-half offense than to take it out on Chiefs coach Andy Reid.
Jason spoke about his younger brother's blow-up and bump of Reid — which remains one of the lasting images of Super Bowl 58 and became an instant meme — on the brothers' "New Heights" podcast.
"I think there’s better ways to handle this, retrospectively," the elder Kelce brother said, before adding, "You crossed the line."

Many NFL fans shared that sentiment after seeing the younger Kelce nearly knock Reid off his feet with a chest bump.

That said, both the tight end and the coach downplayed the incident after the game.
"He keeps me young," Reid said of Kelce when asked about the bump. "Tested that hip out. He caught me off-balance. Normally I'd give him a little bit, but I didn't have any feet under me."
Meanwhile, Kelce spoke well of Reid and credited his coach with helping him to keep his emotions in check during his career.
"He's helped me a lot with that. With channeling that emotion and channeling that passion," Kelce said. "I owe my entire career to that guy [and] being able to control kinda how emotional I get. I just love him."

Still, Travis apologized for the "cheap shot" on his podcast.
"Big Red, sorry if I caught you with that cheap shot, baby,” Kelce said.
That should help to resolve any lingering tensions between the two — though they were likely already erased by Kansas City's second consecutive Super Bowl win.
And while Jason chided his brother earlier in the show for his meltdown, he also commiserated with him. He contextualized exactly what Travis was feeling during that moment and expressed that he understood from where his brother was coming.
“It was pleading with your head coach to let you go out there and win this s—," Jason said. "Me and you both know what that is."
