James Harrison won't be trading the Steel City for Music City.

The Steelers have re-signed their beastly veteran linebacker to a two-year deal, the team announced on Sunday.

Harrison previously announced on Saturday that he would decide between re-joining the Steelers or signing with the Titans, presumably to follow former Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau, who resigned and joined the Titans' coaching staff in February.

Harrison, who turns 37 in May, originally signed with the Steelers in 2002 as an undrafted free agent. He will enter his 13th season in the NFL in 2015, his 12th in Pittsburgh after spending the 2013 season in Cincinnati. He briefly retired for 18 days in August 2014 but agreed to rejoin his long-time team after several defensive players were injured.

The 2008 Defensive Player of the Year earned five consecutive trips to the Pro Bowl beginning in 2007 and helped lead the Steelers to three Super Bowl appearances in five years, winning two championships in 2006 and 2009. He is tied for first in team history with 17 multi-sack games and ranks second with 71.5 sacks. Last season, Harrison recorded 45 tackles and 5.5 sacks in 11 regular-season games, four of which he started.
